LBC Partnership with CrossFit Freedom

LBC has partnered with CrossFit Freedom to create an eight week off season conditioning program. The program is for current 4th - 7th graders. This is a great way to prepare for the 2013 season. At the end of the eight week training all participates will be partnered in teams of two and they will compete in a CrossFit challenge.

Our program at CrossFit Freedom will develop speed, power, flexibility, and metabolic conditioning by training athletes in functional movements done at a high intensity to simulate the demands placed on them in competition. We will focus on the mechanics of foundational strength movements and injury prevention while increasing their work capacity in every area fitness, leading to more explosive, more effective athletic performance. We will replicate the stresses they face on the field unlike any other training program in existence and enable them to realize their full potential as athletes.

Training sessions are held Mondays & Wednesdays at 1pm and Saturdays at 11am. The program will begin Wednesday June 5th with the last session taking place Wednesday July 24th.

Evaluation/ Tryout Process

Evaluations / Tryout Process:

1. All Registered LBC Players grades 3^rd thru 8^th must be evaluated to participate in the Tackle Football Program.

2. The evaluations will start for all Grade levels Saturday July 27^th 8:00am – 12:00pm, and continue Monday July 29^th thru August 15^th (Times to be determined).

3. The evaluations will last until the player has been released or assigned to a Team by a designated Head Coach.

4. If a Player will be absent for any period of time from the Evaluations, The parent must email the dates of the absents and expected return date to tryouts@lbcfootball.org

5. If a Player refuses or does not notify LBC before his absence from the Evaluations he will be put into a supplemental Draft or denied participation into the LBC Program.

6. If a Player is denied participation into the LBC Program a refund will be issued by policy.

7. The supplemental draft will be held on Tuesday August 27^th.

8. All Player's drafted in the supplemental draft will not be allowed to be drafted by his Head Coach or Named Assistant from the previous year.

9. If a Player is drafted in the supplemental draft he will begin Practice on Wednesday August 28^th.And will not be eligible for the 1^st In-House game.

There will be 3 Pick-Up Dates -
May 23rd 5:00pm - 8:00pm,
June 22nd 8:00am - 11:00am,
July 18th 5:00pm - 8:00pm

THERE WILL BE A $50.00 LATE FEE FOR EQUIPMENT PICKED UP AFTER THESE DATES

Refer A Friend

· Refer a Friend Program is now available. If your family refers a new family to LBC that was not part of our program in 2012, you will receive $25 per each new family that you refer ($25 once per referred family). They must enter your name at the time of registration and they must be part of the program as of September 1, 2013. All payments will be made by October 1, 2013.

· Additional discounts are available for additional family members. 2nd player-$25 discount, 3rd player-$50 discount, 4th player-$75 discount. - $900 max. per family.

· Payment plan is available and this season it will pull automatically from your credit card once a month. This is a great way to spread the cost over a few months.
