Libertyville High School Varsity offensive coordinator Danny Schaechter (“Coach Shack”) and his LHS football players, will conduct a four-week speed and football skills camp at Butler Lake this June.  This camp is designed to improve our players’ overall speed and football skills in a fast-paced, competitive, and fun environment. . 

This is for ALL LWYS athletes entering grades 2nd-8th grade in the fall of 2024.  Camp groups with be divided into age brackets.  The camp will run for 4 weeks on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-5pm beginning June 3rd.  Registration is available for all four weeks ($250) or on a week-by-week basis ($75).

We are proud to announce that LWYS is offering the IHSA’s newest varsity sport…Girls Flag Football!  There will be 2 travel teams competing in an all-girl league against nearby towns (5th & 6th and 7th & 8th grades).  This is a tremendous opportunity for the amazing female athletes in Libertyville to compete on the football field with other Chicagoland teams.
