Who needs this test?

A: In a word, everyone.  We require testing age 12 years and older in Tackle football. Testing is highly recommended for flag football and cheer. However, this test is available to anyone 8 years and older.  Younger ages may not test well and have skewed results.

What do I need to do this test?

A: Any iphone, ipad or android phone or tablet.  Choose the device that you will use consistently. Do not switch back and forth from phone to teblet, etc.

How often can I perform this test on my child?

A: Consistency is key.  Test at the same time each day that you test. Test in a quiet location where your child can focus. Ex: Testing in a quiet room before bedtime.

Do I need to test everyday?

A: No, but more tests give us a better picture of what is normal for your child. Being tired, how much they've had to eat and drink can all affect testing. Test several days a week for the first two weeks then test when you suspect an adverse event has occurred.

Who gets my child's test information?

A: Dr. Glynn is the only one who will see your results. If a possible concussion has occurred with your child, please contact him and he will evaluate your results and can communicate any relevant information to your physician.

Is this just for football?

A: No! While we offer this to all members, both football and cheer, we know your child is involved in many sports and can continue to use this product.
